I watch a lot of TV on my laptop which has lousy speakers and listen to music/podcasts on my phone when at work. I had had issues finding good earbuds that fit my ear and walking around I have to deal with either the wire getting caught in something or the earbuds falling off. I wanted to get something which allowed me to listen to music on phone (Droid)/computer without the hassle of wires and earbuds popping out, that would also let me do phone calls.

For those who are new to Bluetooth technical stuff – the ability to go source audio over bluetooth is defined by A2DP. [...]

This device supports Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, supports A2DP, AVRCP, HSP v1.1 and HFP v1.5 profiles.

I did extensive research and reviews and head a lot of good things about this one.

Pros:
I like that it is over the ear so it won’t fall off.
It is slim enough that it doesn’t make your ears stick out too much.
If you wear glasses it is still comfortable.
The dongle to convert older iPods to bluetooth compatible is pretty neat.
Sound quality is excellent.
Very comfortable to use as bluetooth headset for phone.
You can switch from music to phone calls and back.
Volume control is very conveniently located
The forward, back and pause buttons can be used to control some apps on your phone/computer (Others don’t respond those controls)

Cons:
Battery lasts only about 7 hours, So if I want to start using these when I leave home in the morning, and continue using them all day – the batteries are out before 3-4 pm.

I plug my phone into the charger when I am at my desk, but this headset has to be turned off to charge, so if you intend to use it to listen to music for more than 4-5 hours, you’d better get two – doesn’t have replacable batteries.

You might have some issues with cops if you wear this while driving (since it covers both ears)

Although it worked great with my Motorola Droid phone and the sound was extremely clear, I did experience some skipping when using it with the computer – but that could be a Windows Driver issue.

Returning the product for an exchange.
The play/pause button has 2 modes, one where it can control certain apps (like Mediamonkey which I use on my PC) with features like Next, previous, pause and play. This feature continues to work. For Apps (like music apps on my phone) that don’t support these features, the headset would just go quiet when you hit the pause button, which is very handy when someone is trying to talk to you. This feature stopped working 4 days after I started using the headset.

On a separate note, I have been able to use this headset for Voice dialing using my Motorola Droid. Some sites said that it does not support that.
